If you are curious to know how or are wondering about how to enhance the visual appearance of your bio, here are some tips. Athough some HTML tags won't work such as <tr>, <td>, <sup>, <sub>; the list goes on, there are ways around it that produce similar results.

• Inclusion of Other Characters
  To include other symbols, add the Unicode entity of the character you want, which usually starts with a "&" and ends with a ";" onto the page. A list of Unicode character entities can be found here
• Text Manipulation
  There are a variety of ways of modifying text, besides changing color, boldening, italicizing and underlining, to improve their aesthetic appearance; here's a list of some techniques:

    To change the font type, do the following: <font style="font-family: FONT">Text</font>, where FONT is the name of the font.
  • Text Shadow
    Here is a very useful link on text shadows which gives you tutorials on topics such as embossing/letterpress or even putting an outline on text as exemplified just now! Or, how about going up a step with neon lights or even 3D-esque effects? Here's another very useful link
  • Blinking text

  • Adding Images to Bios
    To add an image to your bio page, the code for it looks like this:
    
    <img style="height:HEIGHT;width:WIDTH;background:COLOR;etc..." src="//IMAGE ADDRESS" />
    
    Where IMAGE ADDRESS is the url of the image, without the "http://" bit.
    
    For example, if your image url was the following: http://i.imgur.com/oBDBj.png, then to make it display on your page, the code for it would look like this:
